Rick Stein’s Unsung Heroes - Night 1 - Port Stephens Kicked off the first night of Rick Stein’s Unsung Heroes of Seafood at Julio’s with canapés of scallop, oyster and uni, washed down with champagne, Clover Clubs and cold beers. Then it was downstairs to the restaurant for a decadent four-course dinner celebrating some of Rick’s favourite lesser-known seafoods – served alternate drop with beautiful matching wines. Day 2 — Rick Stein’s Unsung Heroes 🌊✨ The rain may have arrived, but it certainly didn’t dampen spirits. Guests gathered with Rick for a masterclass, watching him cook Stockton pipis in XO sauce — paired beautifully with a crisp Riesling and a welcome gimlet to start. Guests took home a jar of Rick’s house-made XO, a little reminder of the day to enjoy later. Meanwhile, our friends at @earpdistillingco kept glasses topped up with the Bannisters Oyster Gin ‘perfect serve’ — soda, tonic or martin
